Rare French Cartonnier

From France, a 19th century Oak Cartonnier. Not seen in North America, and in its original condition. This piece makes a great collector's item, and is an interesting conversation piece. Each drawer has a latched compartment, barley twist columns, that swing open to keep the drawers in place,  and is in a Louis Phillipe Style.
